The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) closed all lanes of Interstate 65 in Autauga County Friday afternoon.

Lanes near the 192-mile marker in both directions were blocked off due to a “law enforcement-related incident” that occurred at 12:19 p.m.

Video posted on social media showed several agencies on the scene.

ALEA was assisting other agencies and said the lanes would be closed for an undetermined amount of time.

Northbound traffic was diverted at Exit 186, and southbound traffic was diverted at Exit 200.

UPDATE: Southbound traffic was reopened around 2:30 p.m. A northbound lane was reopened around 2:40 p.m.
