Like many politicians, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) wished his constituents and supporters a very Merry Christmas on Wednesday, but his short Christmas Eve message praising Donald Trump attracted the most attention from angry left-wingers.
"Thanks to President Trump, Christmas is back in America," Tuberville posted Tuesday, ostensibly referring to a change in leadership and political attitude not afraid to openly celebrate the Christian holiday. This is the latest example of Tuberville lauding Trump's positive impact on everything from the economy to foreign policy, even weeks before he retakes office.

Coach has since drawn a lot of heat over those nine words and has been the subject of multiple think pieces from Democrat-leaning outlets, all apparently taking his comments about Trump a bit too literally.
"Idiot' MAGA senator mocked for claiming Trump brought Christmas' back,'" was the title of one article on Raw Story.
"Yes, I'm so glad we 'got Christmas back again' from where ever it went. It's such a precious gift directly from the Dear Leader Overlord Ubermensch. I can't possibly be more thankful and grateful for his wonderful leadership during these troubled times before us," wrote the Daily KOS.
Both The Independent and The Daily Beast also highlighted those "roasting" and "mocking" Tuberville over his post, citing the same few negative responses on X despite many others echoing support for a brighter Trump future.
