Rafiq Sh’mare Bradley, of Baldwin County, pleaded guilty Wednesday and was sentenced to a 20-year split sentence with five years to serve and five years probation.

Bradley was arrested following the March 27, 2023, shooting outside Gulf Place. One juvenile was injured and Bradley was charged with attempted murder, shooting into an occupied dwelling and reckless endangerment. As part of a plea deal, he pleaded guilty to assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Police believe the shooting stemmed from a physical altercation.

The incident was caught on video, showing the shooter firing shots and then throwing the gun into a bush before running off.

Bradley has been in the Baldwin County Jail since the shooting. He was originally given a bond of $1 million but that bond was later reduced to $200,000.
