The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office identified a woman killed and a man injured in a stabbing Sunday night in the Belforest community.
Samantha Baker, 37, and Lance Baker, 46, were stabbed at a home on Augustine Drive just before 9 p.m. Samantha Baker died of her injuries. Lance Baker was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
FOX 10 reported that a neighbor reviewed surveillance video where Lance Baker can be heard crying for help.
Investigators charged the couple’s 17-year-old son with murder and attempted murder. The teen’s identity is not being released. Prosecutors said the suspect locked himself in a room after the stabbings and called 911.
The teen is being held in jail on bonds totaling $1 million.
