U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) will headline a fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) in Alabama's capital next month.
Jordan is the House Judiciary chairman and co-founder of the House Freedom Caucus. Moore joined Jordan on the Judiciary Committee when he was appointed in January.
"We need battle tested conservatives like Barry Moore in the House in order to win the fight against the radical left and to restore our justice system," Jordan said. "Barry has proven to be instrumental in our effort to ensure that the federal government works for the American people, not against them."
The fundraiser will be in Montgomery on Sunday, October 1.
Depending on how a federal three-judge panel rules, Moore could face a difficult primary against U.S. Rep. Jerry Carl (R-Mobile) or a well-funded Democrat opponent in a new so-called "opportunity district" in 2024.
