An Opelika Middle School (OMS) teacher was charged Thursday with sex-related crimes involving a student.

Caleb Fuller, 36, of Auburn, was arrested by Opelika Police detectives and charged with electronic solicitation of a child, sexual contact with a student and luring a child to perform or propose sexual acts. Additional charges are pending.

The Opelika Police Department said the charges are related to an incident involving a student at OMS.

The case remains under investigation, and police said Opelika City Schools is “fully cooperating” with them and has placed Fuller on administrative leave.
