As President Donald Trump was sworn into office to begin his second term on Monday, Alabama's liberal commentators were predictably full of sour grapes, painting Trump's swearing-in as the beginning of a new dictatorship.
First up to bat was the vice chair of the Alabama Democratic Party, Tabitha Isner, who immediately gave a list of perceived victim groups who would now be targeted by the president.

AL(dot) com's Kyle Whitmire launched the day with an opinion piece lamenting the perceived influence of the "billionaire class" in the upcoming administration, unsurprisingly trying to shoehorn Alabama-specific parlance by using the term "big mules."
