Phil Campbell High School evacuated the campus on Wednesday after a threat came in over the phone late Tuesday night.
The school said all students were safe, and parents were asked to pick up their children so law enforcement could do their jobs.
School officials said the threat came in the form of a recording. No other details on the threat were revealed.
As a precautionary measure, students were taken to the lunchroom to be checked out.
