A Hoover cooking class will appear on Simply Southern TV this weekend.
Cooking with Culture, co-founded and led by Chef Benard Tamburello and Giuliana Russo-Skinner, is an Italian cooking class where students learn to prepare authentic Italian meals. Students also learn the history of each dish.
Presented by the Alabama Farmers Federation, Simply Southern TV is a show that celebrates Alabama’s rural communities and professionals. The show lasts half an hour and is also available at www.SimplySouthernTV.net.
“Thanks to Cooking with Culture, I can now make pizza from scratch, and I also know the story behind one of my favorite foods,” said Simply Southern TV reporter Melissa Bowman. “The classes are fun with easy-to-follow instructions and offer an added benefit of lessons in Italian history and traditions.”
Russo-Skinner and Tamburello’s episode will premier locally on WBMA-TV in Birmingham on Sunday, July 3 at 6:30 a.m. It will be rebroadcast nationally on RFD-TV Wednesday, July 6 at 3 p.m.
