According to court documents, Daniel James Forman, 31, a teacher and football coach at Prattville High School, has been charged with having sexual contact with an unnamed 18-year-old female student.
According to Forman's arrest warrant, the student was at his residence around 9:30 p.m on October 27 when the alleged sexual contact occurred.
Forman is a football coach at Prattville High School, and the school's website also lists him as a special education teacher.
According to the warrant, while at the residence, Forman rubbed the victim's breast under her bra, rubbed the victim's groin on the outside of her pants, and "grabbed the victim's butt" on several occasions. The victim and Mr. Forman were also allegedly kissing. The victim claims Forman told her that he "wanted to make love to her."
The warrant also contained several witnesses, all of whom are members of the school's staff.
According to the Autauga County Sheriff's Office, Forman was arrested on Thursday and is currently held on a $45,000 bond.
According to Alabama law, it is illegal for a school employee to engage in any sex act with a student under the age of 19.
Forman faces up to one year in jail and a $6,000 fine if convicted.
