HUNTSVILLE — On Wednesday, the University of Alabama in Huntsville and Turning Point USA (TPUSA) hosted 1819 News founder and CEO Bryan Dawson, along with State Rep. Ernie Yarbrough (R-Trinity), on campus for a "Prove Me Wrong: Christ or Chaos" debate.

During the event, a student wearing a hoodie bearing the words "Hail Satan" and identifying as a member of the Temple of Satan stepped forward to discuss the topic of homosexuality.

"For homosexuality is that just based on Biblical text, you're saying that homosexuality is like an abomination," he asked. "Is that specifically because of biblical texts? Because it's a weird thing to hyper-fixate on, like the homosexuality aspect of the Bible. That's one of the things that a lot of Christians try to push legislatively, while trying to outlaw homosexuality."

The student argued there is no fault in homosexuality as it "feels good" and allegedly takes place in nature outside of the human species.

"What's with the against-nature thing? I feel like that's wrong because homosexuality happens with animals. It constantly happens in nature. I mean, sex feels good. Doing it protectively, doing it with someone who's consenting. I feel like there's nothing wrong with that. As long as the key thing is consent, as long as we have consent, what's the problem? Why is it such an abomination? Once again, especially because it does happen in nature. I mean, the male G-spot is in the butthole."

He added, "Like it's just kind of interesting that these things work the way they do, and it's considered an abomination."
