Scores: 3A girls semifinals: Clements 56, Pike County 25; Trinity Presbyterian 53, Susan Moore 47.
3A boys semifinals: Midfield 67, Hillcrest-Evergreen 50; Plainview 55, Sumter Central 41.
4A girls semifinals: Priceville 56, UMS-Wrigh 36; Prattville Christian 52, New Hope 37.
4A boys semifinals: Westminster Christian 61, Montgomery Catholic 28; Jacksonville 82, Hale County 46.
Game of the day (boys): Final Four tested Plainview fell behind 9-0 at the beginning of Tuesday's Class 3A semifinal against Sumter Central. Plainview calmly shook off the rough start and methodically advanced to another state championship game.
Game of the day (girls): Trinity Christian's biggest lead over Susan Moore was 17 points. Susan Moore, making its third consecutive Final Four appearance, responded like a veteran-filled team. The Bulldogs stormed back to tie the game late in the fourth quarter.
Performance of the day (boys): Midfield's Dalvin Dawson did all his shooting from outside the 3-point stripe. Dawson was 8 for 11 on 3-pointers to lead his team to victory in the Class 3A semifinals.
Performance of the day (girls): Trinity Presbyterian's Maddie Smith had 20 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals in the Class 3A win over Susan Moore. Smith was 7 of 10 from the field, 2 of 2 on 3-pointers and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line.
