U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) is playing a direct role in the effort to get former President Donald Trump and U.S. Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) elected in November.

According to a report from NOTUS.org, Britt is among those selected for Vance's spin room team for Tuesday's vice-presidential debate.

Britt will join Trump campaign aide Jason Miller, Trump son Donald Trump Jr., U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), U.S. Reps. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) and Byron Donalds (R-Fla.), and billionaire Howard Lutnick.

"Cotton and Britt are among some of Vance's closest allies in Congress," the report from NOTUS's Reese Gorman said. "Trump Jr. pushed his father to choose Vance as the running mate, and Lutnick, the billionaire businessman and Trump fundraising heavyweight, is a co-chair of Trump's transition team."
