U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Saks) praised the Pentagon on Friday for providing members of the House Armed Services Committee with new, classified information regarding the war in Iran.
"As I've said from the start of Operation Epic Fury, President Trump is taking decisive and necessary action to eliminate a grave threat to the American people," Rogers wrote in a social media post. "I commend our service members for their bravery and remarkable progress toward achieving the President's clear military objectives. The Pentagon has given me and my colleagues multiple high-level, classified briefings in the last few days, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency."
He added, "As Chairman, I'm committed to working with the Administration to pass a supplemental and ensure our warfighters have the resources needed to deter and defeat our adversaries."

"We want to know more about what's going on, what the options are, and why they're being considered," Rogers told Politico. "And we're just not getting enough answers on those questions. That's what I conveyed to them at the end of this hearing: this has consequences if you don't remedy it."
