As the fallout from former President Donald Trump's indictment continues, U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Saks) is falling in line with his Republican colleagues and expressing frustration.

Rogers took aim at Manhattan, N.Y. District Attorney Alvin Bragg in a statement on Friday.

The veteran federal lawmaker called on Bragg to "resign immediately."

"This sham indictment of President Trump is nothing more than a fraught attempt by the far left to weaponize the American justice system and do Joe Biden's political dirty work in the courtroom," Rogers said in a statement. "Alvin Bragg should stop making a mockery of the US Constitution and resign immediately."
