It was game day for the South Alabama Jaguars on Wednesday. And a big game, at that.

However, the focus on Wednesday morning and early afternoon was building for the future. South Alabama head football coach Kane Wommack signed 12 players on Wednesday with seven coming from Alabama high schools.

Wommack’s team played in the New Orleans Bowl against Western Kentucky on Wednesday night.
