On Monday, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) lambasted Democrats and those rioting in Los Angeles streets to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement deporting criminal aliens.
In response to the Department of Homeland Security calling on California politicians to "call off their rioting mob," Tuberville accused Democrats of becoming "the party of destruction and lawlessness." Alabama's senior U.S. Senator went on to declare that anybody wishing to engage in terrorism and anarchy had "NO PLACE here."
"Democrats have become the party of destruction and lawlessness," Tuberville wrote on X. "Terrorism and anarchy WILL NOT BE TOLERATED under President Trump. Those wishing to harm our country and our citizens have NO PLACE here."
Tuberville's remarks echoed those of his fellow Alabama colleague, U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery), who stated, "Democrats and left-wing media figures are defending this lawless activity, as vehicles burn, ICE officers are assailed by mobs, and roads are swarmed. All in the name of open borders and keeping dangerous criminal illegal aliens roaming American streets."
