As a mother of two children, U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) said it was “a sad day” when the Boy Scouts of America announced it would be rebranding to be more “inclusive."
The iconic young men’s organization has operated for over 114 years. However, on its 115th anniversary next February, it will be renamed “Scouting America” to accommodate modern leftist gender ideology and hopefully bolster its historically low membership.
“I am raising both a young man and a young woman, and I believe it is not only OK, it is necessary in many arenas to create spaces where they can grow and thrive and learn as both young women or young men,” Britt told Fox News' Sean Hannity on Wednesday. “[S]omehow the word ‘boy’ has become toxic to the left.”
Britt said the BSA’s decision didn’t bode well for the future of the Girl Scouts and reflected other “woke” policies of the Biden administration.
“And what are we saying about Girl Scouts?" she asked. "What about the longevity of Girl Scouts? It’s the same thing that’s going to happen to women’s sports. It is completely and totally unacceptable. It is absurd, and this is more and the same from the Biden administration.”

She said it was vital for the country’s future and the future of its children that former President Donald Trump win back the White House in November.
“He will bring common sense. He understands the values this nation was built on, and he will not bend to the woke mob. He will let our children be children. He will let them grow and thrive and learn to stand for the flag, to love this country and to be who they are.”
