In what marks the sixth arrest this week of individuals trying to bring contraband into Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, a Wednesday bust secured three arrests and multiple confiscated narcotics.

The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) made several arrests during a thwarted attempt to introduce contraband at Holman on Wednesday. A K-9 Unit noticed a suspicious vehicle and, with support from agents with the Narcotics and Law Enforcement Services Divisions, searched the car and discovered illegal contraband.

Adam Louis Malone, Audrey Teresa Kelley, and Frederick Jermaine Cobb were arrested and transported to the Escambia County Jail. All three face charges of trafficking marijuana, trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking fentanyl, prohibited activities, attempt to commit a controlled substance crime and possession of a controlled substance.

ADOC seized the following from the vehicle:

• Approximately 1008 grams of marijuana

• Approximately 88 grams of methamphetamine

• Approximately 20 grams of oxycodone

• Approximately 20 grams of sprayed paper

• Approximately 4 grams of fentanyl

• 8 cell phones

• 12 vape pens

Six arrests have been made at Holman in the last week, including an ADOC employee accused of having a sexual relationship with an inmate.

During a routine search of Holman visitor Kimberly Damas on Saturday, a small bag containing approximately 22 grams of marijuana was discovered. She was transported to the Escambia County Jail and charged with possession of marijuana, promoting prison contraband and attempting to commit a controlled substance crime.

That same day, ADOC's Law Enforcement Services Divisions arrested Correctional Security Guard Sabrina Taylor during an investigation into the illegal introduction of contraband. ADOC did not state definitively if the two arrests were linked.

The criminal complaint alleges that Taylor had an ongoing sexual relationship with an ADOC inmate. She was also accused of providing at least one inmate with cell phones, Bluetooth headphones, iPods, and an "unknown type powder."
