Three former Chairmen of the Alabama Republican Party have endorsed Mo Brooks, for U.S. Senate.
Terry Lathan, Bill Armistead, and Marty Connors voiced their support for Brooks.
Lathan, the longest serving female Alabama Republican Party Chairman (2015-2021), said the nation needs Brooks.
"Follow the votes,” Lathan said. “Mo Brooks has a solid conservative voting record that is the gold standard of Alabama principles. Mo has a strong history of voting to preserve our liberties and freedoms while standing in the gap to stop the progressive left as they attempt to destroy our nation. Mo's actions and focus are textbook Alabama values. His passion and experience is second to none. On day one in the US Senate, Mo will continue to put our families and America First. Our nation needs Mo Brooks now more than ever. His votes prove his loyalty to Alabama."
Armistead, Alabama Republican Party Chairman (2011-2015) and now serving as Co-Chair of the Mo Brooks for Senate Campaign, said he supports Brooks’ track record.
"Mo Brooks is unquestionably the most qualified and consistent conservative to serve Alabama in the United States Senate,” said Armistead. “I have known Mo for over 30 years and I have never seen him waiver on his stand for our conservative values. We are in a battle for the soul of our nation and I trust Mo Brooks to fight to restore America to our founding principles.“
Connors, Alabama Republican Party Chairman (2001-2005) said, “Our country is deeply embroiled in a culture war right now. More than anything we need predictability in our US senators. There is no guesswork with Mo Brooks. He doesn’t need to make promises or introductions for he has a broad body or work, a documented history of advancing conservatism. Mo is reliable, a known quantity. We know who he is."
Congressman Brooks welcomes these endorsements saying, "I am honored to receive the strong endorsements of these important leaders of the Alabama Republican Party. Their message is loud and clear. You can rely on me to protect working American families and the essential freedoms that define who we are as a people."
