A man accused of killing three people in Guntersville has been found guilty of seven capital murder charges.

Jimmy O’Neal Spencer was convicted Wednesday by a jury in Marshall County. The 56-year-old was charged with killing Martha Reliford, Marie Martin and Martin's great-grandson, Colton Lee, four years ago.

The bodies were found at two homes in Guntersville on July 13, 2018, according to The Sand Mountain Reporter. Spencer was out on parole from a previous crime when the murders took place.

The sentencing phase was expected to begin Friday morning, but it has since been delayed until mid-November.
