BIRMINGHAM — Thursday, Donald Trump, Jr. delivered the keynote address at the Alabama Republican Party (ALGOP) "Trump Victory Dinner." In a fiery, wide-ranging speech, he criticized the left's woke agenda and expressed gratitude to Alabama conservatives.

Trump began his speech by thanking the more than one thousand attendees and the protesters outside, stating, "If they don't show up, I feel like I'm losing my touch."

One key message Trump conveyed was the importance of people getting and staying involved. "We have that problem. We get complacent. We get lazy. We see the wins on TV, and we sit back," Trump Jr. told the crowd, pointing to the election results from Tuesday's special elections in Wisconsin and Florida.

The younger Trump attributed the crucial loss of the Wisconsin Supreme Court case to complacency and highlighted how close one of the Florida seats was. In a district that Donald Trump won by 30 points in last November's presidential election, the Republican candidate secured only a 14-point victory.

"We've got to make sure that the Republican Party is energized without just Trump at the top of the ticket. We have to get involved and stay in that game at every level," he declared.

Trump added, "The presidential is fun and exciting. Congress and Senate, they're great, but we can get involved down to the dog catcher. Because the left has figured out how to weaponize each and every step in the political process, each and every position."

"Look at our school boards. I mean, that could be the number one thing we do is we take over our school boards again," reminding the crowd that Democrats are pushing, "rainbow-haired lunatics, you know, transactivists to be on the school boards to make sure they're indoctrinating our children, they're capturing at them in early age," he continued. "Many cases of destroying lives."

He closed his speech by saying that the last four years had been rough, but "perhaps it's exactly what we needed."

"Please continue to stay in the game. Don't ever give up. Fight. Fight. Fight," Trump concluded.
