Sunday on New York WABC 770 AM radio's "The Cats Roundtable," U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) warned that President Joe Biden was "on the way" to starting World War III with funding Ukraine and supplying weapons to fight Russia.

Tuberville declared that Ukraine "can't win" the ongoing war with Russia and called on the Biden administration to sit down with Russian President Vladimir Putin to end it.

"[Biden has] almost got us in three wars. Ukraine can't win. We would love for them to be able to, but he has now given them permission to shoot American weapons into Russia," Tuberville told host John Catsimatidis. "Now, if he wants to start World War III, he is on the way to doing it. And we have to have leadership that will sit down and have a summit with Vladimir Putin and get this thing over with and try to help the people of Israel get out of this mess that they're in. And then, of course, everybody wants to [say], 'Hey, we cannot let China take over Taiwan.' Hey folks, we can't keep China from taking Taiwan. We don't have a military strong enough or able to get that done. we are living in the past and not in the present, so we have downgraded our country, John. This country is holding on by a thread in a lot of areas."

"We would not allow China to put weapons on our border in Mexico. That would not happen," he added. "We fought that back in the Bay of Pigs back in 1961 of Russia putting nukes in Cuba. So, we have got to wake up and smell the roses here and understand that this is not just Vladimir Putin. This is Joe Biden and this administration that is trying to create some kind of controversy, some kind of conflict, where they can keep their power and keep running this country into the ground. ... They want some kind of conflict."
