Tyson Foods, Inc. recalled some 29-ounce plastic bags of Fun Nuggets Breaded Shaped Chicken Patties after consumers reported finding small metal pieces in the food. There was at least one minor oral injury associated with the recall.
Approximately 29,819 pounds of fully-cooked nuggets have been recalled due to extraneous materials, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced.
The “use by” date on the recalled products is Sept. 4, 2024. They have lot codes 2483BRV0207, 2483BRV0208, 2483BRV0209 and 2483BRV0210.
The bags were shipped to Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.
