A Facebook post made Sunday showed a mouse nibbling on produce at a buffet in Oxford.
The mouse then climbs on top of the produce and disappears from the camera’s view.
The poster tagged Western Sizzlin, a locally owned franchise of the Western Sizzlin restaurant chain. The restaurant offers a buffet as well as a menu of steak and chicken.
So far, the video has been shared over 10,000 times.
The poster updated her post, informing viewers that someone at Western Sizzlin let her know they are trying to fix the problem.
1819 News reached out to Western Sizzlin Sunday night. A representative for the restaurant said they closed as soon as they were made aware of the issue and that pest control would be there within the next hour to deal with the problem.
Western Sizzlin reopened at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
