As the dust settles on Hugh Freeze's firing as Auburn University's football coach, one of his daughters took to social media to sound off about the "reality of getting fired in the SEC."

Madi Freeze, a student at Auburn, posted two five-minute videos to her TikTok account in which she discussed what families have to deal with when a coach gets fired after her father was relieved of his duties when Auburn bought out his contract for $15.8 million.

"I feel like the side of football where you are on the mountaintops is really fun to put out there and fun to talk about, but I feel like I'd be doing a disservice by not opening up to the other side of that," Madi Freeze said in a video published on Monday. "And I feel like there's a lot of families walking through that right now."

She acknowledged that her video would lead to criticism, but wanted to weigh in on the "reality of what many families were going through right now" with coaches getting fired.

Madi Freeze went on to say that the big money involved in coaching was "not enough" to be "worth it."

"Obviously, we came here hoping to restore the program, and we were promised four years, and that didn't happen," she asserted.

Madi Freeze later said the firing came with the "relief" that her father could get treatment for his recent prostate cancer diagnosis.

"I watched my dad's health just deteriorate over this, and I mean, other people can see it. ... He's just not healthy," she stated, later adding, "This industry is very tough."

In a follow-up video posted on Tuesday, Madi Freeze doubled down on how "hard" it has been to hear "hurtful" things about her and her family in the wake of Hugh Freeze's firing, and she wanted to "shed light" on what a coach's family has to face when the coach gets fired. She called on fans to show compassion towards those families.

@madi.freeze not here to talk football, but to speak the effects on families. & In a world full of hate, trying to be a light 🤍 #fyp #auburnfootball #secfootball #coaches #coachesoftiktok #fypviral ♬ original sound - madi.freeze
