The 2024-2025 College Football season is only a month away, and programs across the country have started to begin preparation for the new campaign.
In addition to getting this year's team ready to go, recruiting efforts are in full swing.
The Auburn Tigers are no exception as the program's annual "Big Cat Weekend," one of their biggest recruiting efforts, took place this past weekend.
Head coach Hugh Freeze and company added five commitments to their 2025 recruiting class, which now comes in at No. 5 nationally, according to 247Sports.
The latest additions to Auburn's class include 4-star wide receiver Derrick Smith, 4-star safety Anquon Fegans, 4-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman, 4-star cornerback Blake Woodby and the No. 2 punter in the class in John Alan McGuire.
Auburn's 2025 recruiting class includes 21 players, two 5-star recruits, 10 4-star recruits and eight 3-star recruits.
Auburn's 5-star commitments:
Malik Autry, a native of Opelika, is the No. 29 player nationally and the No. 4 defensive lineman.
John Alan McGuire, a native of Alabaster, is the No. 2 punter nationally according to Kohl's Kicking.
Auburn's 4-star commitments:
Jakaleb Faulk, a native of Highland Home, is the No. 47 player nationally and the No. 4 edge rusher.
Eric Winters, a native of Enterprise, is the No. 54 player nationally and the No. 5 safety.
Derick Smith, a native of Selma, is the No. 78 player nationally and the No. 2 wide receiver.
Jourdin Crawford, a native of Birmingham, is the No. 93 player nationally and the No. 13 defensive lineman.
Anquon Fegans, a native of Alabaster, is the No. 98 player nationally and the No. 9 safety.
Antonio Coleman, a native of Saraland, is the No. 100 player nationally and the No. 14 defensive lineman.
Blake Woodby, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, is the No. 129 player nationally and the No. 16 cornerback.
Devin Williams, a native of Buford, Georgia, is the No. 150 player nationally and the No. 20 cornerback.
Tavaris Dice, a native of Fairburn, Georgia, is the No. 168 player nationally and the No. 17 offensive tackle.
Donovan Starr, a native of Brentwood, Tennessee, is the No. 221 player nationally and the No. 26 cornerback.
Alvin Henderson, a native of Elba, is the No. 129 player nationally and the No. 8 running back.
Auburn's 3-star commitments:
Broderick Shull, a native of Bixby, Oklahoma, is the No. 197 player nationally and the No. 22 offensive tackle.
Ryan Ghea, a native of Alpharetta, Georgia, is the No. 435 player nationally and the No. 22 tight end.
Bryce Deas, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, is the No. 523 player nationally and the No. 53 linebacker.
Hollis Davidson, a native of Peachtree City, Georgia, is the No. 535 player nationally and the No. 31 tight end.
Tai Buster, a native of Kannapolis, North Carolina, is the No. 559 player nationally and the No. 38 interior offensive lineman.
Dante Core, a native of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, is the No. 629 player nationally and the No. 55 cornerback.
Jacobe Ward, a native of Savannah, Georgia, is the No. 700 player nationally and the No. 46 interior offensive lineman.
Spencer Dowland, a native of Athens, is the No. 950 player nationally and the No. 68 offensive tackle.
While improving its 2025 recruiting class, Auburn also added three 4-star recruits, edge rusher Hezekiah Harris, linebacker Shadarius Toodle and linebacker JaMichael Garrett, to their 2026 class, which currently sits at No. 1 in the country.
Recruiting continues to be a priority for Freeze and the Tigers.
