On a Tuesday episode of "The Benny Show" with Benny Johnson, U.S Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) called for individuals involved in the horrific crimes of financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to be promptly arrested and forced to "pay the ultimate price."

Tuberville spoke to Johnson shortly before the U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation Tuesday that would allow the Justice Department to release all of its files relating to Epstein.

"Let's put them all in jail," Tuberville said. "This has gone on way too long. I don't really understand why we're having to vote on anything in the House or the Senate. Just let it go, let the justice do its job."

The senator stressed that any individual involved in sexual acts against a child, regardless of their station, should be promptly placed in prison with the key then "thrown away."

"These people are definitely criminals. Anybody having anything to do with young kids. We put them in jail," Tuberville stated. "We throw the key away. I don't care who it is, it's time to get this mess over with and let people know you're going to pay the price for doing something like this, so you know it's going to blow up."

Tuberville pointed to Larry Summers, a former president of Harvard University and close friend of Epstein, as one of the first dominoes to fall after emails between the two men were recently released.

"Larry Summers, right off the bat, I don't know who else it's going to be," he said. "I have no clue, but I'm anxious, like everybody else, to hear about the transparency that President Trump offered up during his campaign. And here it comes, and I'm looking forward to it. Some people are going to have a very, very tough holiday season, and they should."

Tuberville is hopeful that those found guilty in the child sex abuse cases relating to Epstein will "pay the ultimate price" for their crimes.

"As President Trump said, "Democrats, you want it to be brought out. Let's get it done." And so here we come. I'm looking forward to people going to jail and paying the ultimate price for what they did. [The] American people deserve this, and we deserve to get it out of the way where we can get this country back on its feet again, because we're struggling."

The legislation passed the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday afternoon by a vote of 427-1, permitting the Justice Department to release all files relating to Jeffrey Epstein. The bill was later unanimously approved by the Senate and now heads to President Donald Trump's desk for final approval.
