The results of Tuesday's run-off election for Birmingham City Council and Birmingham School Board favored incumbents, except for J.T. Moore, who was defeated. BLM co-founder Eric Hall, who previously lost a bid for city council, was defeated by the largest margin of any candidate in the run-off election.

Today, residents of Birmingham will go to the polls for the city's runoff elections, to decide three city council seats and three school board races. Runoff's are required when no candidate gets a 50.1% majority in the primary election.
