On June 24, 2022, the landscape of abortion policy in the United States changed forever. The U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, allowing states to set their own laws on abortion.

The battle for preborn life did not culminate with the Dobbs v. Jackson decision. It now enters an intensified stage – the battle for the hearts and minds and souls of men.

The Alabama Republican Executive Committee passed a resolution honoring the conservative majority of the U.S. Supreme Court for several recent landmark decisions.

“Struggling families in Alabama and all over America are increasingly frustrated and furious at being ignored by tone-deaf Democrats who continue to desperately pump out do-nothing legislation to keep the radicals in their party at bay," said Rep. Barry Moore.

During an appearance on "Rightside Radio" on Wednesday, Attorney General Steve Marshall told host Phil Williams that last week had been a "seminal moment" for the conservative legal movement.

Pro-life and pro-choice advocates in the state are giving their reactions to Friday’s historic decision by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS).

This does not mean that abortion is now illegal in America. The Supreme Court simply no longer considers it a right that cannot be touched by lawmakers.
