Being able to watch Parker learn to raise chickens has been a joyous journey filled with laughter, learning, lots of patience and much love.

An encouraging trend is unfolding here in the great state of Alabama as more and more Alabamians are trading in their urban lifestyles for a more self-sufficient way of life.

In the fast-paced, technology-driven world we live in, the timeless wisdom of farming and self-sustainability remains an invaluable treasure.
