Douthit wins out in Madison County District Judge Place 1 GOP primary

Douthit, who was previously appointed to serve as District Judge for Place 1 by Gov. Kay Ivey in January, defeated Huntsville attorney Michael Tewalt, earning 65.3% (18,096) of the vote compared to Tewalt's 34.7% (9,629).
