After winning three straight elimination games to keep its season alive, No. 4 Auburn capped its regional comeback Monday night at Plainsman Park with an 8-3 win over Milwaukee, using a five-run sixth inning to punch its ticket to a second straight Super Regional.

Needing two wins to extend its season, No. 4 Auburn delivered on a long Sunday evening at Plainsman Park, defeating UCF 9-3 and Milwaukee 8-1. 

Facing elimination, No. 4 overall seed Auburn appeared to be in control multiple times Saturday, but N.C. State repeatedly answered before the Tigers escaped with a 17-13 victory at Plainsman Park.

In its first regional appearance since 2010, Milwaukee tallied seven hits the first time through the order and 10 runs across the first four frames en route to a 13-8 upset win over No. 4 overall seed Auburn in the opening game of the Auburn Regional on Friday at Plainsman Park. 

After a 39-18 campaign against the nation's toughest schedule, Auburn baseball earned the No. 4 national seed and will host its fourth NCAA Regional in the last five seasons.

The Alabama baseball team's 2024 season concluded on Saturday with a 4-0 defeat to Stetson in the Tallahassee Regional of the NCAA tournament.

In a game that saw multiple lead changes and ties, Alabama came up short, losing to UCF 8-7.

Fresh off a five-run ninth inning on Saturday to secure a win against Southeastern Louisiana, Alabama carried the momentum over to Sunday’s regional final game against the Lions.

It took nine innings but Alabama softball came out victorious with a 6-3 win over Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday in the Tuscaloosa Regional.

No. 14-seeded Alabama softball began NCAA Regional play Friday, defeating USC Upstate 1-0 in the Tuscaloosa Regional.
