Alabama officials are leading a legal charge against the Biden administration in hopes of reversing the recent changes to Title IX laws dealing with gender identity.
Riley Gaines headlined the Moms For Liberty dinner at Toyota Field in Madison on Saturday night to a crowd of approximately 200 guests.
State Rep. Susan DuBose (R-Hoover) told 1819 News on Monday morning that she intends to file a “Women’s Bill of Rights” (WBR) before next year’s legislative session begins.
“At this time, we are hopeful that the library will come to their senses and reverse their decision. We are still planning to be there on Saturday at 10 a.m.”
The library issued a statement Thursday saying the event had to be shut down due to capacity issues and security concerns.
The event at Madison Public Library hosted by the Moms for Liberty chapter in Madison County is expected to draw over 350 attendees, but it’s also attracted a group of far-left protesters planning to hold an event of their own at the same time across the street.
