1819 News successfully hosted the first-ever Albert Patterson Gala, dubbed an “Evening of Courage,” where the outlet presented the Albert Patterson Courage Award to U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville, 2,000 Mules Producer and True the Vote partner Gregg Phillips, and Drs. Jordan Vaughn and Stewart Tankersley of Concerned Doctors, before hearing from the gala’s keynote speaker, Author Eric Metaxas.
Dr. Stewart Tankersley has been on a mission to let people know just how damaging the decisions made in response to COVID have been and to hold those companies and government officials accountable.
"Getting children all recommended vaccines is one of the most important things parents can do to help protect their kids’ health, the health of their classmates, and their community," ADPH wrote in a statement.
Preliminary data suggests that the BA.5 subvariant is more infectious than previous subvariants. It also appears to cause milder sickness, although hospital numbers and deaths due to COVID-19 have increased over the last several weeks.
On July 1, the U.S. Army announced that the June 30 COVID-19 vaccination deadline for Army Guardsmen and Reserve soldiers had passed and that reserve component soldiers “may not participate in federally funded drills and training and will not receive pay or retirement credit.”
