Five of the six suspects in a 2023 deadly Sweet 16 party shooting in Dadeville could sign plea deals this week.

A Tallapoosa judge ordered the case of the 15-year-old charged in the Dadeville Sweet 16 shooting to be moved from Juvenile Court to adult court for criminal prosecution.

Details emerged in court this week in the shooting death of four young people at a Sweet 16 birthday party in Dadeville on April 15. Six people were charged with four counts of reckless murder. The three adults and three juveniles were all charged as adults.

None of the multiple agencies that responded to the shooting has let the community know if there is a mass shooter on the loose and if the community is in danger.

The pre-trial hearing has been set for the Dadeville man accused of murdering two and kidnapping one.

It has been verified that the accused kidnapper and killer, Jose Paulino Pascual-Reyes, is an undocumented resident in the country illegally. More so, Pascual-Reyes had previously been deported from the country.

Horrific details are emerging in the kidnapping turned double murder in Tallapoosa County. After a kidnapping investigation, Federal, state, and local law enforcement uncovered the remains of two bodies in a Dadeville residence.
