The Lieutenant Governor’s Commission on 21st Century Workforce met Wednesday in Birmingham to prepare recommendations to transform Alabama’s current workforce development initiatives.
When it comes to economic growth and attracting more business to Alabama, Lt. Gov. Will Ainsworth said government incentives do help, but increasing the labor force should be the primary focus.
“I am proud of our progress and predict we are well on our way to surpassing the goal of adding 500,000 additional credentialed individuals to our workforce by 2025,” said Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey,
