Tuesday marked the 100th day of President Donald Trump's second term in office. The milestone was met with considerable support from Alabama officials, who praised his accomplishments and his aggressive pursuit of his America First agenda.
'President Trump's first 100 days show he is a leader putting America first," Gov. Kay Ivey said on X. "A new golden age for our country is taking shape. Alabama is proud to stand with President Trump as he delivers once again. And he's just getting started!"
U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt agreed that a new era was dawning. He touted Trump's success in securing the southern border, cracking down on crime and bringing accountability to Washington.
"President Trump has made it unmistakably clear to the world that the days of America's goodwill being taken for granted are over," Aderholt stated. "Whether friend or foe, other nations now understand that America is strong, determined, and will always put the interests of its citizens first. It's a refreshing and welcome change that I fully support as we continue working to make America great again."
Several other Republican lawmakers celebrated Trump's first 100-day performance.
U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) posted on X: "Promises Made, Promises Kept. From signing the Laken Riley Act and securing our border, to ensuring our energy producers have the ability to unleash American dominance, [President Trump] has accomplished so much in his first 100 days. And he's only just getting started."
U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover): "In his first 100 days, President Trump has brought common sense back to the White House by
:usa: Ensuring only women can participate in women's sports
:usa: Signing an executive order recognizing only 2 genders
:usa: Ending the radical Biden-Harris DEI agenda."
U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Saks): "President Trump has accomplished more in 100 days than Biden did in his entire presidency. I am proud to see an America that is stronger and safer than it was 100 days ago. I know President Trump will keep up the good fight, and I look forward to supporting him in every way possible."
U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) listed several of Trump's accomplishments
U.S Rep. Dale Strong (R-Monrovia): "In his first 100 days, [President Trump] has delivered real results for the people of North Alabama. From strengthening national security to fueling job growth and reinvigorating American industry, Trump is taking action to push back against the failed policies of the radical left that weakened America's economy, values, and institutions."
