I am constantly filled with overwhelming gratitude and deep admiration for the man who has been such a strong influence in my life as a father, teacher, mentor, and a source of unwavering support.
It is with utmost joy and appreciation that I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thank you to my dad for being the best father, and a huge blessing as a grandfather and great-grandfather as well. His hardworking example, consistent presence, and faith has had a profound impact on my life.
The greatest and most impactful gift you have given me, Dad, is your unwavering faith in Christ. You are committed to putting your faith first, and your words and actions have shown me the importance of this faith, coupled with love and compassion. Your steadfast trust in God has taught me the value of resilience, surrender, and strength in times of adversity.
I am forever grateful for the spiritual foundation you have laid in my life.
Your role as my teacher goes beyond academic lessons. You have been a strong guide, imparting wisdom, knowledge, and values that have shaped my character. You have taught me daily that hard work and dedication will take a person far in life.

Amidst life's ever-changing tides, you have been the anchor in my life. Your consistent love, support, and guidance have provided me with strength during both the brightest and darkest moments. There have been times when everything seemed to be falling apart. Looking to you for reassurance told me everything was going to be ok.
Your steady presence when I was a child was a source of comfort, assurance, and stability. I am grateful for the countless memories we share of singing, laughing, working in the yard, going out to dinner, or enjoying an Alabama football game. I loved seeing the joy on your face in these moments, knowing we are creating a lasting memory.
I am also thankful for the unwavering bond we have formed over the years as I have gotten older.
On this special occasion of Father's Day, I want to express my gratitude to you, Dad, for being the best father to me. I cannot fully express how your love, guidance, and support have nurtured my growth, and instilled values and virtues that will guide me throughout life's journey.

Sometimes as children and even more as teenagers, we take things for granted. I know I did! But I have learned now as a parent and a grandparent that we don’t always get things right. Knowing that, I wish I could go back and say thank you so much more for the little things.
