Judy Barlow, president of Eastern Shore Republican Women (ESRW) and chairman of the National Federation of Republican Women's (NFRW) Legislation & Research Committee, will be in the room with former President Donald Trump on election night.

Barlow, of Magnolia Springs, will be among 3,000 people nationwide who will attend the historic watch party at the West Palm Beach Convention Center.

"There will be major donors and major influencers that have worked really hard for the Trump campaign," Barlow said. "I am excited to make this announcement, and it wouldn't be possible without my involvement with the Eastern Shore Republican Women. You get opportunities you normally wouldn't know about."

Barlow, who attended the Republican National Convention (RNC) this summer, predicts the atmosphere will be similar but on a smaller scale.

"There will be a lot of excitement in the air looking for a Trump and Republican victory on November 5," she added. "We are optimistic, and we're excited about everything when we're looking at the numbers."

While polls are not always accurate, Barlow says current polls suggest a silent majority will show up for the GOP. She encourages all Alabamians to vote and take a friend to the polls.

"Alabama loves Donald Trump," Barlow said. "Alabama has really gone above and beyond, especially in this election cycle. We have people in Georgia right now, and this is their second deployment. Many of them are staying over in Georgia to be poll watchers."

"Georgia is one of the critical states that we need to win," she said. "So, we have people in place to watch in Georgia and across the nation through the NFRW. We have people in place to do poll watching and poll working to ensure election integrity."

Election integrity is among the top concerns Barlow says people ask her about.

"I want everyone to know that your vote does count," she said. "The Trump team has put some safeguards in place and right now, they have an election integrity lawyer specialist group that is in place and on-site that are ready to roll tomorrow when the elections are being tabulated and the votes are being tabulated."

"If poll watchers have any questions, concerns or comments, they can go to that group of people, and they will be ready to research and give answers right away to anything that's going on across from the local level, to the state level and to the national level," Barlow said.

As a strong Republican voice, Barlow said she is thankful for a party that accepts and reflects her values.

"We [women] are influencers, and we are important in our communities across the state, and then we bring national influence back down to our communities," she said.
