U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) spoke about the imminent relocation of Space Command on Tuesday evening's episode of One America News Network's "The Matt Gaetz Show."

According to Moore, the decision to relocate the U.S. Department of Defense entity from Colorado Springs, Colo., to Huntsville is undoubtedly the correct and logical choice.

"Absolutely, I think that's the right thing to do in the evaluation process. Alabama won twice, hands down," Moore told host Matt Gaetz. "I think they [Colorado] came in fifth, but it was the top blue state. That's where Biden, like you said ... wanted to punish these red states."

Moore referenced the Biden administration's discriminatory actions against conservative states during the COVID pandemic.

"Never forget they limited monoclonal antibodies to certain red states during COVID, so the fact that they would move Space Comm for political reasons is certainly no surprise, but for sure, I think that Alabama won it hands down," the congressman stated.

Moore said Space Command is moving to an area with a "history of great military service," and once relocated, will be able to assist in the production of the Golden Dome missile defense system.

"So many veterans, like I said, I've got Fort Rucker, and you have military bases in the panhandle of Florida, just the patriotic part of the country. So we'll certainly do a fine job with Space Comm," he asserted. "We can build a Golden Dome for America right there in Huntsville, Alabama, and sub out the first few years of suppliers across the state and across regions there that'll help us."

"Alabama, without question, was the hands-down winner, and it was a political decision that Biden made to move it out of our state," Moore added.

Moore is currently running for the U.S. Senate to replace U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn), who is running for Alabama governor.
