An all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash in Marshall County took the life of a seven-year-old child Tuesday.
The crash occurred on Brock Road, about five miles west of Boaz. The ATV was the only vehicle involved in the crash. At approximately 7:25 p.m., the ATV left the roadway, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
The child was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the ATV, 28-year-old Patricia D. Johnson of Boaz, was injured and flown to a hospital.
ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating.
