A Foley woman was arrested in Boerne, Texas on Monday, Mar. 28, and charged with second-degree manslaughter following a wreck that killed her 4-year-old child.

According to Boerne Police Department (BPD) in Kendall County, Tex., the woman was driving the SUV. Her three children, a 4-year-old, 2-year-old and 14-month-old, were in the car with her at the time.

WKRG 5 said the woman's name is Kianna Adams.

Adams was traveling back to her home in Foley when her SUV flipped on Interstate 10. BPD said all three children were ejected and that Adams didn’t properly buckle her children into the SUV before they crashed.

The 4-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other two children were rushed to a hospital in San Antonio.
