Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood said a Mobile-area pastor used his power over women to sexually assault them.

Bradrick Vail, Sr. was found guilty of seven counts of sexual misconduct, Blackwood announced.

"The defendant used his power as a pastor over these women to sexually assault them," said Blackwood. "His actions were despicable, and he perverted the faith he claimed to preach."

Victims told investigators Vail lured them to his house, where he said he would pray for them, but instead, he raped them. According to Fox 10, one victim testified that Vail instructed her to take off her clothes and kneel on a Bible before raping her.

Vail will be sentenced on April 7.
