In an interview with Infowars host Breanna Morello, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) reiterated his opposition to the move and expansion of the Islamic School of Alabama.
"We have 50 states in this country. Muslim communities are moving everywhere. Every state, they're building mosques. They're having these five prayers a day. They're pushing this cult on everybody across the country. Now the people who are vulnerable are obviously our young people who are in these Woke universities... We've gotta talk about it," Tuberville said.
On Monday, the Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to recommend to the Hoover City Council that it deny the school's application.

"There's a small school, that's a Muslim school, in that area. They want a larger area where they can build a bigger school, infiltrate more, and bring in more young people and teach them the Muslim faith," he explained.
"I'm a senator right now, and I'm going to fight it. In the future, in a year, I'll be the governor. And I'll be damned if we're going to do that. In the state of Alabama, we're going to protect the people of Alabama. We're going to protect our Constitution. We're going to protect our state. We're going to protect our country."
Tuberville expanded on his views related to Muslim immigrants in our nation.
"If you can come here and go by our laws and go by our Constitution, and make our country better, and want to assimilate, I'm all for you. They don't want to do that. They want to change this country to something else. Now, Sharia Law and Islam, it's not a religion. It's a cult, okay? And their cult believes in totally different things we believe in. They don't believe in you know, Americans. Kill the infidel. Do away with everything that we believe in, that hate Christians. You know, we're having tens of thousands of people killed in Nigeria by Muslims, because they're Christians. So it's going to happen here."
"Why do we even take that chance? So, I'm saying, they don't belong here. Let's pack them up and send them home. And I think a lot of people are starting to understand after this shooting the last week here, two or three blocks from where we're at right now. It's a huge problem, and it's going to get worse. It's not going to get better. And, uh, again, we've got to start speaking up about it because if you don't talk about your problems, you can't solve the problem. And so let's start talking about it."
Tuberville posted on X, "The only place this 'Islamic Academy' should be moving is OUT OF ALABAMA. Islamic Indoctrination Centers have NO PLACE in our state."
