Katherine Robertson will announce her campaign for the Republican nomination for Alabama Attorney General Tuesday night in Birmingham.
Attorney General Steve Marshall is scheduled to deliver remarks at the campaign event at Regions Field. Marshall, who is term-limited from running for attorney general again, is running for U.S. Senate.
Robertson currently serves as chief counsel for the Alabama Attorney General’s Office. According to a campaign press release, Robertson is running for attorney general to strengthen public safety, defend constitutional values and serve Alabama’s communities.
The Alabama Republican Primary is scheduled for May 19, 2026. Other Republican candidates who have already announced are former Alabama Supreme Court Associate Justice Jay Mitchell and Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey.
