Kamala Harris is not strong enough for the White House, according to U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery). Britt appeared on Fox News Channel's "Hannity" Wednesday night following the address by President Joe Biden.
Host Sean Hannity said Harris is the most radical person to ever run for president, and Britt agreed.
"Oh, it's not gonna play out well," Britt said. "You're exactly right. I mean, she is left of Bernie Sanders. How do you even get there?"
"You know, when I heard Joe Biden say tonight that, you know, the great thing about America is here that kings and dictators do not rule, the people do," said Britt. "Look, Sean, every word that he read from that teleprompter was just dripping with hypocrisy."
"In this very situation, that's exactly what happened," she said. "You had party bosses, right? You had liberal elites, right, checking the box and saying, get out, Joe, we're going to coronate Kamala."
When people realize who Harris is and how her policies work, Britt believes they will not support her. She said Harris is extreme and radical, and her show of support for Palestine and absence from an address by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu proves that.
"The American people want common sense policies," she said. "They want Donald Trump back in office. They want a secure border, they want stable prices, they want peace through strength and today when she had her very first test as the defacto, coronated presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, she failed."
While pro-Hamas demonstrators raised Palestinian flags in place of the United States flags in Union Station, Harris spoke at a conference instead of listening to the Israeli leader. Britt said there is nothing presidential about that.
"She chose not to speak out against the despicable protest that we saw today, burning the American flag, raising the flag of Hamas across the air, spray painting, 'Hamas is here,' 'Hamas is coming," Britt added. "It is just, there is nothing presidential about that, that is weak, and that is vulnerable, and that's more of what we'll see from her moving forward, no doubt."
