Over 1,500 people came to Grand Bay over the weekend to celebrate the grand opening of 4-Bulls retail store at Mason Hills Farm.
The store offers farm fresh meat processed on-site and locally sourced goods and products, including Mason Hills Farm seasonings and seafood.
What started as a hobby for owner Joey Mason is now something he considers a movement.
"People get the feelings of excitement and amazement whenever they come to the farm and look at it," Mason told 1819 News. "That's because we've paid attention to the details. When you drive onto the property, we want it to be an immersive experience every time, in every aspect. And then we want our customers to be able to take home the immersive experience and enjoy it with their families."
The new retail store is "craftsman meets industrial." Every detail, from the custom countertops to the outdoor kitchen, gives visitors a sense of welcoming. Mason said he hopes the farm will become a destination for people traveling along the Gulf Coast.

"I'm proud of what we've created here with my team," Mason added. "There's really been a group effort to get to what it is now. I've just been the visionary and I've had so many wonderful and amazing people that have come along to make the dream a reality. And my expectation for this place is that it brings awareness to the true farm-to-table experience."
While Mason Hills Farm is planning a local expansion, Mason said he also wants to expand 4-Bulls outside of Mobile County with franchise opportunities. He said it is important to teach others and future generations how to build a legacy of their own while securing the farming industry.
Store hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
