A suspect accused of shooting an occupied Alabama Power vehicle has been arrested.
Montgomery native John Brandon Harris was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, according to the WSFA 12 News Staff.
Harris allegedly fired shots around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in west Montgomery in the 3000 block of Gaston Avenue, close to Interstate 65. Two individuals were in the vehicle at the time.
Police said a motive for the shooting is not clear.
The Montgomery Police Department identified Harris as the suspect and took him into custody at a local hospital. He was then moved to the Montgomery County Detention Facility with bail set at $30,000.
