Montgomery Police are investigating a shooting that left two dead early Friday morning.
According to the Montgomery Police Department (MPD), at about 1:57 a.m. on Friday, MPD officers and Fire Medics responded to the 500 block of North Eastern Boulevard in reference to multiple subjects shot. Jeroderick Bell, 29, and Devin Ligon, 30, both residents of Montgomery, sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The pair were eventually pronounced dead at the hospital. MPD claims the shooting appears to be an isolated incident involving offenders known to each other.

MPD did not announce any suspects or arrests and provided no further information on the incident. MPD also asked anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward with any information that could aid the investigation.
